Local rivers, reservoirs and lakes yield a variety of species of fish including trout, crappies, bass and others.

 

 

Rye Patch Reservoir
Rye Patch is located 49 miles southwest of Winnemucca. It is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. This reservoir lies along the Humboldt River, covering 11,000 acres when full. Visitors enjoy fishing, boating, water skiing, camping and picnicking. There is also a campground, boat launch and picnic sites.
