WSRRA National Finals

November 3-6, 2016

The Western States Ranch Rodeo Association National Finals celebrates the western heritage, values, and traditions of the working ranch! Women's ranch teams will compete on Thursday, followed by a jackpot team roping, big loop roping, and women's steer stop. Friday and Saturday are team events and ranch bronc riding in the evenings. Sunday will be the short go for the championship. The National Professional Wild Horse Racing Association will have two performances each day on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, along with a kids' wild pony race!


Winnemucca Host Lions Club Festival of Trees

November 25-26, 2016

The Winnemucca Host Lions Club Festival of Trees will brighten the East Hall of the Winnemucca Convention Center with Christmas cheer. Mrs. Claus will be hosting a tea on Friday afternoon and Santa will be having a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday morning. Of course, the pair love to do things together, so both will be attending each other's events. Pictures and candy canes for all! Everyone is welcome to browse and bid on the beautiful trees.
